As we conclude the 2026 school year, there is one thing that still needs to be discussed. Congratulations to all our athletes who are heading off to college to continue pursuing their favorite sports! These 16 athletes are talented and extremely dedicated. Here’s a little about them, describing their majors, achievements, and overall congratulation time on their future endeavors.
Luke Cunningham – Lacrosse captain Luke Cunningham committed to Bates College to play D3 lacrosse. This last season, Luke scored his 200th career point this season on varsity. He will be majoring in Economics. Congrats Luke!
Carly Krebs – Softball co-captain Carly Krebs is not only a star at the plate, but she also won All-Section and All-League for her performance this year. Carly is committed to the University of Hartford and plans to major in Integrated Elementary and Special Education. Good Luck Carly!
Ava Medina – Softball co-capitan Ava Medina will be attending Manhattanville University to play D3 Softball. She will be majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Congrats Ava!
Emma Mariella – Our 3rd softball co-captain, Emma Mariella, will be attending Florida National University to study Health Sciences. Emma not only is an extremely talented 3rd baseman, but she also won an All-League for her hard work this year. Congratulations Emma!
Dante Gulla – Senior soccer captain Dante Gulla will be attending SUNY New Paltz next year to play D3 Soccer. Best of Luck!
Lindsay Smith – Future Fredonia State lacrosse player Lindsay Smith will be attending Fredonia state to study Elementary Inclusive Education. Best of luck Lindsay!
Jack McKenney – Lacrosse co-captain Jack McKenny will be attending Springfield College to play D3 lacrosse and study Business Management as his major. Congrats Jack!
Frank Tumminello– Senior attackman Frank Tumminello just reached his 100th goal as a varsity lacrosse player this season. He will be attending Illinois Wesleyan to play D3 lacrosse while majoring in Finance. Congratulations!
James Munoz – Senior hockey player James Munoz will be attending Marist University to play hockey and major in Marketing. Best of luck!
Matthew Van Buskirk – Senior Matthew Van Buskirk will be attending Ave Maria University to be a part of their track and field team. Congrats Matthew!
Ryan Spidal – Star pole vaulter Ryan Spidal made states this year for his pole vaulting. Ryan will be attending Ithaca College to be a part of their D3 track and field team. Best of luck Ryan!
Richard Ayin – Future University of New Haven track and field star Richard Ayin plans to major in Computer Science as well as being a part of their Track and Field team. Best of luck Richard!
Isabella Pelaez – Isabella is currently the number two all-time shot put player in Brewster’s history. She plans to attend Stevens Institute of Technology to study Civil Engineering. Congratulations Bella!
Ethan Elibox – Track and field star Ethan Elibox, just this past spring, has beaten yet another school record in the men’s 200m. Ethan plans to attend Western Connecticut State University to be a part of their track and field team and he plans to major in Psychology. Best of luck Ethan!
Amya Aviles – Volleyball star Amya Aviles plans to attend University of Mount Saint Vincent to be part of their volleyball team. Congratulations Amya!
