All lists are subjective, just sayin’. We read as many books as we could get our hands on, so although this lists doesn’t have everything great that came out in 2025, it’s still our best of list. Enjoy! (And feel free to recommend some to us!)

The newest addition to the iconic dark "Hunger Games" series, "Sunrise on the Reaping," astonishes readers with its gut-wrenching telling of the 50th Hunger Games. We get the perspective of one of the 48 tributes chosen for the arena this year, Haymitch Abernathy, the victor. We see his trials, turmoils, and tragedies. Most importantly, we see how these events molded and shaped him and his worldview.
