Lost in the dog-days of summer? Looking for some fun to pass the time or to live your best life? Here’s a checklist of the top 10 things for you to accomplish this summer to make the most of your time.

1) Have a big water balloon fight with all of your friends. You could go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of  water balloons. Break out your hose, fill ‘em up, and have some fun!

2) Get all of your close friends and family together for a big picnic at the local park. Play games, music, bring a ton of food and just socialize with one another.

3) Grab a few of your closest friends and host an outdoor movie night. But you will need a projector. If you don’t have one, you can make your own out of cardboard and a magnifying glass! Then, get a big white sheet and hang it up somewhere outside. Get some comfy chairs. You can’t watch a movie without popcorn! So grab a few big bags of popcorn from the store and you are all set!

4) Plan on devoting your whole day for a big shopping spree at the mall or maybe a nice town with lots of stores. But make sure to set a budget first!

5) Learn something exciting and new. Visit the city for a day and find a museum or any attraction that may interest you.

6) Unplug yourself from your devices and reconnect with nature. There are so many lovely sights you can find outdoors.

7) Do you want to earn a bit of money this summer? Try finding a nice busy spot in a park or almost anywhere and set up a lemonade stand on a hot day when the sun is out. You will get many customers in need of a nice refreshing lemonade. Maybe even add in some tasty snacks for a dollar!

8) Make a new craft! Go to your local arts & crafts store and buy some supplies to get started. I recommend trying to make friendship bracelets with string or even upcycling old things like clothes, different objects, etc.

9) Try starting your own garden! You can grow a rainbow of amazing fruits and veggies right in your own home. To get started, go to your local hardware store and buy some seeds and gardening tools. Then find a nice sunny spot with a good amount of soil.

10) Undertake a new sport. Maybe you’ve never done rock climbing before or hiking. See what it’s like to experience something new that can be exciting for you.
