It’s time Brewster! This is the second edition of the Senior Sports Spotlight article. In this article I’m going to cover all the students from the 2025 graduating class that are moving on to college sports after impressive high school careers.

Anna Nitti

First up, Anna Nitti, who will be attending Utica University in the Fall. Anna committed this past July. She is a talented defense, midfield, and attack lacrosse player who reached her 100 draw control this year. Anna will be majoring in nursing this upcoming fall. Good luck Anna!

Uriel Lopez Navarro

Uriel is a runner on track and field who will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the fall. He reached many records this year, like being a triple medalist in the hurdles pole vault and the 4×2 relay. Congrats Uriel!

Ashley VanKeuran

A cheerleader here at BHS, she will be continuing her career while attending the University of New Haven. She will be majoring in English Literature. Best of luck!

Cassidy Fallon

Cassidy is committed to playing volleyball at Manhattanville University in the fall. She is an opposite/right side, blocker, and middle setter. She’s going to major in Physical Education. She had an amazing senior season at Brewster, helping to carry her team to the AA section finals. Congratulations!

Harrison Schmidt

A star football player here at Brewster, Harrison will be attending and playing at Hartwick College where he will be majoring in sports management. Congrats!

Julia DeRose

Julia was the first of the class to sign with a school that she was interested in. She will be playing Division 2 soccer at Franklin Pierce University. Julia is going to major in Early Childhood Education. Best of luck Julia!

As you can see, these seniors were chosen to play these sports at these impressive schools for these great programs for a reason. Good luck on where the path takes you next. Brewster will miss you!
