Mu Alpha Theta Adopts Families
Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society is in the midst of our second major community service program, called Adopt a Family. Through the program, we have taken on the task of providing four families with their Christmas gifts to make this holiday season a memorable one. We kicked off the year with the Pajama Program where we provided children in Women’s Shelters with new pajamas and books. As the year progresses, we look forward to and continuously prepare for our annual math-a-thon, in which third graders are invited to complete workbooks and raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
